Met the Big Guy! Look I'm about to sit on his lap. He told me if I'm a good little monkey I'll get my new red car. I'm so excited! 

It's St Nick Morning and he brought us some candy in our shoes and a new toy.
C got a new game with monkeys jumping on the bed. We've played a few times. I won once. Pepper (my dalmatian friend), he won a couple times. Even though he's not a monkey,  he can sure jump on the bed with he rest of us. 

Ohhhh man!! Look at that Turkey!

Mom and Gramma have been cooking and baking for two days now but the day is here. The bird is in the oven... How much longer till we eat? 

Ok. Family is here. I helped set the table. Smells are filling the air. I found my seat. I think I might be able to use the big people silverware instead of my hands this time. Let's hope my paws can hold it. But I'm always ok using my hands, it just requires a little more clean up.

I think it's Time!

Bring on the food! 

Say what you will... I think tag should be a contact sport. It'll get him ready for football and I'm a soft target. I got him! 

I'm thinking about getting a new car. Well, at least asking Santa for it. I'll be a safe driver.

I have experience. Mom has let me drive her car. (Yes, she was there and maybe she helped... a little), but I'm still a good driver. Never mind that when I turn the wheel my whole body goes around with it. Or I don't really reach the petals... Minor details.

I think this one fits me better anyway.  What do you think of the color? 

Here's the thing... If we're going to be stuck here, can you at least move your foot?

I didn't realize that when Mom said EnterTrainment Junction, I'd be covered in hay before we even walked in the door. There was a hay bale maze! J and I rolled over the dead ends to get through. Maybe not the right way to get there but it was way more fun. I just need a good shake.

I was trying to climb in to help and got stuck here. I love to watch him shovel the plastic coal into the boiler but I want a shovel too. Hey.. He missed one... I just need to get down there. A little push please.

Ok... I didn't get to shovel but I did get to play with the stickers. Here is my pumpkin. The stickers didn't stick very well to the pumpkins and fell off by time we got home. Do you know what they did stick well to though? Fur. 

I love going to my chiropractor. After long days of being thrown around, stepped on, slept on, shoved in back packs, going from the washing machine to the dryer, a monkey can get really out of sorts. He can get me back in shape without popping the stuffing out of me. I appreciate that, I need my stuffing. 

He's also taught me a thing or two and I'm thinking if this sidekick gig doesn't work out (It's a pretty awesome gig though) maybe chiropractor school. I've been to college (for a day), I can do chiropractor school too. My arms may not be so long but I have a soft touch. My patient seemed pretty happy. Coming for your job Dr. Shelby...

Ok.. here we go again as J brings me to Mom, so she doesn't forget to bring me. She buckles me in again but this time I make it clear that I'm not staying in the car. I want to go to school too. 

And this time, I got to go in. YAY!! 
Here's what I learned... 
Preschool is Way more fun.
There's no nap time or fun toys and games here. There's no duck duck goose and a lot of sitting.
But there are crazy pictures and stories. I've always been a fan of story time.
I know why mom likes her coffee. Thanks to my new friend Jeanette for making it.

There is snack time though and I do like chocolate! I just have to climb up on the table a little more... 

ahhhhh... well maybe there is a nap time... 

All the things we see looking out this window together. It's just the right height for watching.  We watch for Gramma and PopPop with excited anticipation. We count the cars that go by until they get here. Then run to the door when we see them. The other day we saw deer walking though the yard and we tried to be quiet to not scare them. The leaves are changing colors and I can't wait to watch the snow falling, maybe mom will let us go play in it this winter. I can make a snow monkey. 

Mom was getting ready for school and J ran up to her with me. He so proudly said,  "Mom, don't forget your monkey!" She gave me hugs and told him thank you. I was so excited to go to school! She buckled me in the car...

And off we went. But when we got there...

I stayed in the car!! At least she rolled the window down a bit. Sad monkey. We had a talk on the way home and next time I'm going in with her.
